Cider Pub of the Year
The branch's Cider Pub of the Year award (Cider POTY) was introduced in 2015. It is an award made to recognise the pub in the branch area that is considered to be doing the most to promote the availability of real cider.
The Cider POTY is chosen by those present at CAMRA Central Lancashire committee meetings. Previously nominations can be submitted by local CAMRA members, with a shortlist of candidates being drawn up for consideration.
Each year the branch's Cider POTY will be entered for the CAMRA North West Regional Cider POTY award (West Pennines Region until 2024). See Regional Cider POTY Winners.
