It may still be 2025 but judging is now taking place to select the CAMRA Central Lancashire Pub of the Year (POTY) for 2026.

Things are a little different compared to previous years, with four individual Area Pub of the Year winners having already been selected from the nominations that were submitted by local CAMRA members. As pictured above, the Chorley Area POTY Finalist is the Malt 'n' Hops, the Preston Area POTY Finalist is the Winckley Street Ale House, the South Ribble Area POTY Finalist is the Market Ale House at Leyland, while the West Lancashire Area POTY Finalist is the Thirsty Duck at Burscough. These four Finalists will each be presented with a certificate to recognise their Area POTY success.

CAMRA Central Lancashire committee members are currently carrying out the judging to determine the branch's overall Pub of the Year winner. The result will be announced early in the New Year.
