At the June 5th CAMRA Central Lancashire branch meeting two more decisions were made in selecting the branch's 2023 award winners.

The Flat Iron, Chorley (pictured left) was chosen as the branch's Most Improved Pub of the Year for 2023, while the Chain House Brewing Co. Taproom, Preston was chosen as the branch's Best New Cask Outlet for 2023.

The presentation for Most Improved Pub of the Year will take place at the Flat Iron on Thursday July 6th when the branch has a social in Chorley. The presentation for Best New Cask Outlet will take place at a social to be held at the Chain House Brewing Co. Taproom on Thursday September 7th.
