This pub changed its name from the Bay Horse to Jack's At The Bay Horse in mid-2013. The pub came under new ownership in November 2014 and there was a further name change to Skippy's. This proved to be short-lived, and early in 2015 the pub was back as the Bay Horse.

There followed a further name change to the Mediterranean 3 At The Bay Horse, and then in February 2022 it became Elliot's Bistro.
