This pub re-opened in May 2013 after being closed for over three years. It has had a number of name adjustments, originally being known as the Waterfront, but also having spells as the New Waterfront, the Waterfront At Preston, and latterly Baffitos At The Waterfront..

This pub closed in September 2019. It remained empty and boarded up for over a year, before in October 2020 it was announced the premises would be converted into a care home.
