Just published is Ale Cry 146, the Autumn 2026 edition of the CAMRA Central Lancashire branch quarterly magazine (on-line version available here).

A 28 page issue, the front cover features a selection of photographs from the many branch presentations which have already taken place in 2026. Inside there is plenty to read, with the Crafty Beggars Ale House at Fulwood being revealed as the Autumn 2026 Pub of the Season, while the Hayfield at Ormskirk is named as the Community Pub of the Year 2026. Together with local news updates for the Preston, Chorley, South Ribble, and West Lancashire areas, this Ale Cry also includes - a look at the CAMRA Heritage Pubs of Sheffield; a preview of the forthcoming Preston Pub Festival; and a Riley's Rambles trip to Liverpool city centre.

Copies of Ale Cry 146 will be available in pubs and clubs throughout the branch area in the coming weeks.
