Already this year we have announced the branch's Pub of the Year and Club of the Year award winners for 2026. To complete the 'big three' of the branch's annual awards we are now pleased to announce that the CAMRA Central Lancashire Cider Pub of the Year for 2026 is the Thirsty Duck at Burscough.

The Thirsty Duck is a worthy winner, and the award is especially noteworthy as this is the first time that the pub has been eligible to win the award, with Burscough only becoming part of CAMRA Central Lancashire branch in the past year.

A branch social is to be held at the Thirsty Duck on Wednesday June 10th, when there will be a presentation of the Cider Pub of the Year 2026 certificate.
