Just published is Ale Cry 145, the Summer 2026 edition of the CAMRA Central Lancashire branch quarterly magazine (on-line version available here).

Once again a 32 page edition, the front cover presents a mash-up of bar-top photographs from real ale pubs across the branch area. Inside, the Hopworks Brew Co. Tap at Walton Summit is featured as the Summer 2026 Pub of the Season, while other award winners recognised for 2026 are Fulwood & Broughton Cricket Club (our Club of the Year), the Thirsty Duck at Burscough (our Cider Pub of the Year), Rory's Taphouse & Wine Bar at Euxton (our Best New Cask Outlet), and the Old Black Bull in Preston (our Most Improved Pub). Other articles in this latest issue of Ale Cry include - a look at the CAMRA Heritage Pubs of Leeds; Part 4 of the West Lancashire Pubs Guide; and a Riley's Rambles trip to Liverpool (South). And there's plenty more, with local news from the Preston, Chorley, and South Ribble areas..
