This year's Lancashire Beer & Buses day took place on Saturday April 25th. As usual organised by the Merseyside Transport Trust, passengers and beer drinkers were able to hop on and off a fleet of vintage buses that were providing a regular service travelling on two routes that were centred on Burscough. All told 17 pubs were featured throughout West Lancashire, from Banks and Hesketh Bank in the north to Parbold in the south.

These Lancashire Beer & Buses events have been running successfully for several years now in the Burscough area, but this was the first time that it had been held since Burscough (and much of West Lancashire) became part of the area covered by CAMRA Central Lancashire branch.
