Just published is Ale Cry 143, the Winter 2025 edition of the CAMRA Central Lancashire branch quarterly magazine (on-line version available here).

With a suitably Christmassy cover photograph this is another 32 page edition of the magazine that is packed full of news and articles. The Kicking Donkey at Ormskirk is revealed as the branch's latest Pub of the Season, and as such it becomes the first winner from the West Lancashire area that has recently become part of CAMRA Central Lancashire branch. Two pages each are now given to the regular local news reports, Chorley Chatter, Preston Parade, and South Ribble Scene, while other articles include - a Riley's Rambles visit to Kendal, a feature on the CAMRA Heritage Pubs of York, and Part 2 of the West Lancashire Pubs Guide.

Copies of Ale Cry 143 will be available in pubs and clubs throughout the branch area in the coming weeks.
