Impressive country pub situated in large rural grounds along the Leeds-to-Liverpool canal about a 20 minute walk from Burscough village. The huge split-level interior boasts stone and wood floors with a number of separate areas for food and drink. The pub benefitted from an extensive refurbishment in 2023 and has three handpumps serving cask ales, with St Austell Tribute or Wainwright Gold on as regulars. The pub serves food all day, everyday, and the downstairs bar is available for private hires up to 100 people. Breakfasts are also served on a Saturday from 10am.
