Just published is Ale Cry 142, the Autumn 2025 edition of the CAMRA Central Lancashire branch quarterly magazine (on-line version available here).

With a revamped cover design which comprises a montage of photographs of pubs in the West Lancashire area, this is once again a 32 page issue packed full of news and articles. The Winckley Street Ale House, Preston, is revealed as the Autumn 2025 Pub of the Season, and in a separate article it is one of twelve pubs highlighted as participating in the upcoming Preston Pub Festival 2025. With CAMRA Central Lancashire branch now having a responsibility for some pubs in the West Lancashire council area this magazine includes a West Lancashire Pub Guide Part 1, while there is also an article on the branch's boundary changes over the years. Other articles in this Ale Cry include - a Riley's Rambles visit to Cleveleys plus a look at three CAMRA Heritage Pubs in Stockport. Copies of Ale Cry 142 will be available in pubs and clubs throughout the branch area in the coming weeks.
