The Kitchen Tap is a new bar and takeaway that opened on 11th April 2025 in premises previously the home of the Taste of Thailand in the centre of Buckshaw Village. It serves a variety of locally-sourced ales and craft beers with twelve tap lines in place alongside a food offering including smash burgers, fries and pizzas. Drinks are shown on an electronic display board with a typical offering of three lagers, five ales including local breweries such as Rivington, Farm Yard and Hopworks along with Salt, Guinness and a couple of Kopparberg ciders, though subject to regular change. The twelfth tap serves Prosecco! Many of the local ales are served via membrane keg and are real ale though not cask conditioned.
