Chew’s Yard opened on 2nd May 2024 having previously opened as a pop-up venue in late 2023. Based in what used to be Walker Windows, next door to Preston Playhouse the food, drink and entertainment hall will be open Thursday to Sunday and has secured a number of independent food kitchens including Trough Charcuterie (grazing boards using local produce), Seitanic (plant-based kebabs and loaded fries), Chamo Street Food (South American influenced) and Two Guns pizzas. Escapade will be running the bar with Thornbridge Brewery, offering a range of four draft beers including an IPA, a Helles lager, hazy session IPA and a fourth seasonal beer. Open noon-6pm on Bank Holiday Mondays.
