This pub closed in 1995, and was demolished in 2000.

For most of its existence it was known as the Earnshaw Bridge Inn, then in the 1960s was re-named the Leyland Tiger. For several years it was known as the Hippodrome, but at the time of closure was once again the Leyland Tiger.
