This was to be a trip to Hornbeam Brewery at Denton, but on arrival at the brewery it was discovered that they had not recorded our visit in their diary.

This being the situation, it was decided that those present should have a branch social and during the evening four nearby pubs in Hyde, Greater Manchester, were visited.
