Black Horse is Pub of the Year
CAMRA Central Lancashire branch are pleased to announce that their Pub of the Year for 2023 is the Black Horse, Preston. Judging was carried out in the latter weeks of 2022, with nine pubs having been nominated as candidates for the award. Scoring was very close, with the six judges selecting the Black Horse as the deserved winner of the award.
This is the first time that the Black Horse has been chosen as the branch's Pub of the Year, although it was the winner of the George Lee Memorial Trophy in 2019/20, which was the last year that this now retired award was made. There will be a social at the Black Horse on January 26th from 8pm, with the Pub of the Year presentation taking place on the night. We look forward to there being a good turn-out of local CAMRA members present.
