The long-awaited Chain House Brewing Co. Taproom in Preston has now opened. Located behind the Plau, it can be accessed from Friargate or Market Street West via the Clayton's Gate alley (which connects the two streets). The new bar had a soft opening on Saturday November 26th, and initially it will be open Thursdays to Sundays only, with the precise opening times still to be decided. There are two cask ales on handpump, plus fourteen keg lines, which will showcase the brewery's own beers together with a selection of guest ales.
