Large country pub situated between Thornley and Chipping and dating back to the 16th Century. With a quiet and relaxed atmosphere, the pub has a very traditional feel. Special lunchtime menu available with a-la-carte meals at all times. The Partridge Brewery is being built in an outbuilding in the car park and it is hoped this will start brewing during 2017. Closed in April 2018 with an application being made to convert the site to residential accommodation in the form of apartments and holiday lets.
