Homely country inn close to Samlesbury aerodrome. It has a wood panelled lounge with bay windows and authentic beams and a large attractive garden to the rear. There is a focus on genuine home cooked food with locally sourced ingredients where possible. There has been a change of licensee Autumn 2014 and initial reports are that there is no food and the beer range is reduced - resurvey awaited. Sep 2016 - pub reported closed and later demolished in 2018 to make way for commercial redevelopment.
