The Waggon & Horses like many rural beer houses started life as a working farm and only started selling beer sometime in the 1840's. It was situated on the corner of Coppull Moor Lane and Chapel Lane on the south side of the village. The pub was demolished in 2010 and replaced by a housing estate called The Meadows.
