This pub stood on the corner of Pall mall and Duke Street. A Whitbread pub it was demolished in 1986 and sheltered housing was built on the site. The two pictures showing the pub open and later boarded up awaiting demolition are both provided by the Chorley Inns & Taverns Blogspot.
