This former Tetley's pub stood towards the A6 end of New Hall Lane. The original pub was demolished and replaced with an ugly prefabricated affair, which itself closed circa 1982 and was subsequently demolished. Our main photo shows the replacement building, while the second photo shows the original structure with the Queen Adelaide (closed in 2000) nearer to the camera.
