A former Thwaite's house near the city centre (which was later owned by the Mitchell's brewery). It closed in 2001 and became an extension of Ted Carter's Fishing Tackle shop. Originally known as the Horse She Hotel, the name was changed in the 1920s to the George Inn (later George Hotel) finally carrying the name Shepherd's Arms from 1998 until closure.
