This modern estate pub had a reputation as being ' a bit rough' and was reported in the local paper as having the nickname 'The Flying Bottle'. It closed in 2009 and was demolished in 2013. Photographs of this pub are hard to find and the we are grateful to Chorley Council for the use of this image.
