Street corner pub situated opposite the railway station and adjacent to the bus station. Comprising a single L-shaped room, with a games area for pool and darts off to the right, the pub has reverted to it's original name which derives from the time when two pubs were combined many years ago. More recently the pub has been called the Weird Arms, Gossips and the Fox and Grapes. The pub has recently been sold to Chorley Council and there are plans to redevelop the site at some stage. After a brief dalliance with real ale, the pumps are once again empty (October 2015). Autumn 2016 - pub has been shut for a while, scaffolding now up. The pub has been demolished and the Chorley Youth Zone built on the site.
