The latest of this year's branch socials was held on September 15th in Chorley, with a keen band of local CAMRA members turning out to visit a selection of the town's many micropubs. Meeting at The Shed & The Garden, Chorley, the evening got off to a start with a presentation - the pub having been chosen as the branch's Most Improved Pub of the Year for 2022. This was the first time that this award had been made since 2019 - pictured left landlord Ste Hornby holds the certificate alongside CAMRA Central Lancashire branch chairman Adrian Smith. The important business over, for many of those present it was an all too short stay, with out-of-town CAMRA members taking the opportunity to look in at a couple more of Chorley's great selection of micropubs.
