Available from the beginning of September is Ale Cry 130, the Autumn 2022 edition of the CAMRA Central Lancashire branch quarterly magazine (on-line version available here Ale Cry). The Old Post Office, Adlington is featured as the branch's latest Pub of the Season, while the winners of two awards for 2021-22 are also revealed - The Shed & The Garden, Chorley is the branch's Most Improved Pub of the Year, while the Tap End, Ashton is the branch's Best New Cask Outlet. Other articles in the magazine include - a Riley's Rambles trip to Sowerby Bridge; a Cycle Ale Trail looking at the North-East Preston Loop; and a Historic Preston Pubs feature looking at the London Road area. As well as the regular Chorley Chatter, Preston Parade, and South Ribble Scene articles you will find plenty in the magazine to read.
